Our remote athlete coaching service is designed for advanced climbers ready to take their performance to the next level. Delivered entirely remotely, you’ll receive personalised training, expert feedback, and ongoing support to help you work towards your goals.
What’s provided
➤ An initial video call with your coach to discuss your short/ medium/ long term goals, details of your current training schedule and dates of upcoming important events to build peaks in your training around these.
➤ An advanced-level training plan covering on-the-wall training, stretching, strength & conditioning and fingerboarding - personalised to your goals and training schedule, and continually updated based on your experience.
➤ Constant support from your coach via regular messaging and video calls - ask questions about your training, let us know about changes to your schedule and send videos of your climbs for feedback.
➤ A discount code for 25% off a private coaching session during each training cycle.
Athlete Training with In-Person Coaching
This combines the best of both worlds; blending remote coaching with personalised 1-2-1 and in-person group sessions. This approach gives you tailored training, expert feedback, and hands-on guidance to accelerate your performance.
What’s provided

➤ 4 hours of in-person group coaching at Harrowall climbing centre with other advanced/elite level students on the programme (one 2 hour session per fortnight).
➤ A 1-2-1 private coaching session with your coach every cycle.

Both Athlete levels are aimed at advanced level athletes, such as national or international level competitors. Those on the Athlete level should anticipate and be accustomed to more than 15 hours of training per week.

Absolutely! The remote programme is intended for exactly this, and you can always purchase in person sessions at a discounted rate if you ever find yourself in London!

So long as you’re accustomed to 15hrs of focused training per week, you’re too old at all! Where you opt for the remote or in-person athlete training is entirely up to you! Many of our athletes enjoy training in-person with us in addition to their personalised training, but if you’d prefer to train separately or training in person isn’t practical for you, then the remote athlete training is your best option!

Our first recommendation is to get in touch with a physio to ensure you’ve got a solid plan for recovery - we’d recommend @theclimbingphysio. Aside from that though - your training with us can be put on pause whenever you need; we have a flexible freeze policy allowing you to pause and unpause your payments up to 12 weeks in a year. We believe a crucial part of training consistently and sustainably is that the training you do is enjoyable! There will be plenty of aspects of the training which we expect you’ll have loads of fun with, and there will be regular reload weeks in which you’ll get to simply relax and climb for fun without any particular focus. If you’re finding the training to be hard work and unenjoyable, the first thing we’d recommend is that you discuss with your coach, who would either discuss how to find the joy in what you’re working on, or would adjust your plan so you enjoy it more!
