Are you interested in attending The Big Comp at HarroWall, but not sure where to start? Join Louis Parkinson, former GB team member and seasoned comp climber, for a workshop designed to help build your confidence and get you settled into your qualifier round on the day!
Louis first stepped onto the comp scene 15 years ago, and placed close to last in his early competitions. However, through a lot of learning, he worked his way up the leaderboards, eventually amassing a long list of competition victories and an invitation to compete at the IFSC World Championships with the GB Senior Climbing Team in 2015.
During each hour-long workshop, Louis will walk you through the setup of the Big Comp qualifiers, while running through basic competition tactics and mindset tips and tricks. Alongside competing himself, Louis also has years of experience providing support to his Catalyst students as they step into the world of competitive climbing, so he will be the perfect guide if you're feeling nervous about trying your hand at the Big Comp!
Attendance at these workshops is FREE with a valid ticket for a relevant qualifier round of the Big Comp on Saturday 23rd September.
